Dr. Shahram Fasihy is a family physician and Medical Director of Dawson Medical Clinic with over 15 years of experience in medicine and primary care.
He earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of British Columbia, followed by a Master of Business Administration and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the American University of Antigua College of Medicine. He completed his Family Medicine residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Dr. Fasihy provides comprehensive, patient-centred family medicine with a strong focus on preventive care, chronic disease management, mental health, and minor office procedures. He also provides cosmetic and therapeutic Botox treatments and serves as a Panel Physician for Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), with extensive experience performing Canadian immigration medical examinations.
As Medical Director, Dr. Fasihy is committed to providing accessible, efficient, and high-quality medical care while building long-term relationships with his patients.
Outside of medicine, he is passionate about fitness, endurance sports, cycling, hiking, and healthy aging.

Dr. Sara Khatami is an experienced family physician with a diverse background in family medicine, hospital and emergency care, dermatology, and aesthetic medicine.
She obtained her medical degree in Iran in 2005 and later completed her Family Medicine residency at the University of Manitoba in 2023. Her experience spans community and hospital-based medicine, as well as medical education and the training of medical students and Family Medicine residents.
Dr. Khatami also holds Master’s degrees in Dermatology and Integrative Aesthetic Medicine. She has a special interest in preventive medicine, women’s health, and dermatology.
Now practicing at Dawson Medical Clinic in Burnaby, Dr. Khatami is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based, and patient-centred care. She values building trusting, long-term relationships with her patients and working collaboratively to support their health and well-being.
