We strive to call you back within 24 hours of your request, but this is not always possible. Depending on the volume of telephone consult requests, our turn-around time can get longer. We also triage requests and call back those that are urgent sooner.
As we are closed on Wednesdays, messages left on Tuesdays after noon and messages left on Wednesdays might not get a call back until Thursday. Messages left on weekends will be returned on Mondays at the earliest. The same delay goes for holiday closures.
Our telephone consults are NOT for a specific time slot and the doctor may call you at any time between scheduled clinic patients, during lunch breaks, or at the end of a working day.
If you are only available at a specific time slot or have restrictions on availability, we can not accommodate this with a telephone consult and you are required to make an in-person appointment.
After you request a telephone consult, we will try contacting you 3 different times but if there are not answers after 3 tries, we ask that you kindly schedule an appointment in person.
To help us with the efficiency of telephone consults, please have the FAX NUMBER of your pharmacy ready before you call us, especially if you don't have pharmacy information on file or if you are changing your pharmacy.
